Pin System for Membrane Fixation

Master-Pin-Control has been specially developed for the fixation of resorbable, non-resorbable, and titanium-reinforced membranes. The Master-Pin-Control Plus contains two different types of pins. One pin features an especially flat head design, making it ideal for use under thin soft tissue, for example, while the other pin has a larger head design that makes locating the pins beneath the soft tissue particularly easy after successful integration.

All included pins are made from Grade 5 titanium alloy and have a circumferential groove that increases the surface area of the pins. Thanks to this groove, the pins can be securely and easily removed, which is particularly important after a successful healing period. With their sharp tip and very stable shaft, they can be easily and precisely inserted into the cortical bone. For the simple and safe placement of bleeding points in the cortical bone, the Master-Pin-Control Plus system also includes the 203S spiral drill, which features an automatic depth stop.

Pin System zur Membran Fixierung

Master-Pin-Control ist speziell für die Fixation resorbierbarer, nicht-resorbierbarer und titanverstärkter Membranen entwickelt worden. Dabei enthält das Master-Pin-Control Plus gleich zwei verschiedene Arten von Pins. Während der eine Pin über ein besonders flaches Kopfdesign verfügt und sich somit beispielsweise optimal für den Einsatz unter dünnem Weichgewebe eignet, verfügt der andere Pin über ein größeres Kopfdesign, dass das Auffinden der Pins unter dem Weichgewebe nach erfolgreicher Einheilung besonders einfach macht.

Alle enthaltenen Pins bestehen aus Titanlegierung Grade 5 und verfügen über eine umlaufende Nut, die die Oberfläche der Pins vergrößert. Dank der umlaufenden Nut lassen sich die Pins sicher und leicht lösen, was gerade nach einer erfolgreichen Einheilungszeit von besonderer Bedeutung ist. Mit ihrer scharfen Spitze und dem sehr stabilen Schaft lassen sie sich einfach und präzise in den kortikalen Knochen einbringen. Für die einfache und sichere Platzierung von Bleeding Points in den kortikalen Knochen, enthält das Master-Pin-Control Plus System zusätzlich den Spiralbohrer 203S, welcher über einen automatischen Tiefenstopp verfügt.
