Micro Screw System Plus according to Prof. Dr. Fouad Khoury System combination for extraction and fixation of bone grafts

The Micro Screw System Plus is a combined system consisting of the Trephine Ejection Kit, which enables minimally invasive removal of local bone cylinders, and the Micro Screw System, which serves to securely fix and stabilise bone grafts.

This allows the Micro Screw System Plus to perform the complete workflow of the Bone-Core technique. For the removal of local bone cylinders, the system includes two-part, internally cooled trephines which, thanks to their detachable trephine working parts, make it particularly easy to push out the harvested bone cylinders using special ejector instruments.

For the subsequent fixation of the bone cylinders, the Micro Screw System Plus offers osteosynthesis screws with diameters of 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm, as well as all necessary instruments for placing the screws. The osteosynthesis screws are made of surgical stainless steel, providing high stability despite their reduced diameter.

The combination of the two techniques in one system and the optimally coordinated instruments enable the user to follow a holistic, clear workflow when performing the Bone-Core technique, allowing the highest precision from harvesting to fixation of autologous bone cylinders.

Systemkombination zur Extraktion und Fixierung von Knochentransplantaten

Das Micro Screw System Plus ist ein kombiniertes System aus dem Trephine Ejection Kit, welches die minimalinvasive Entnahme von lokalen Knochenzylindern ermöglicht, und dem Micro Screw System, das der sicheren Fixierung und Stabilisierung von Knochentransplantaten dient.

Damit ermöglicht das Micro Screw System Plus die Durchführung des kompletten Workflows der Bone-Core-Technik. Für die Entnahme lokaler Knochenzylinder enthält das System zweiteilige, innengekühlte Trepane, welche es dank der abnehmbaren Trepan-Arbeitsteile ermöglichen, die gewonnenen Knochenzylinder mit Hilfe spezieller Ausstoßinstrumente besonders einfach herauszuschieben.

Für die anschließende Fixierung der Knochenzylinder bietet das Micro Screw System Plus Osteosyntheseschrauben, die über einen Durchmesser von 1,0 mm bzw. 1,2 mm verfügen, sowie alle notwendigen Instrumente zum Setzen der Schrauben. Die Osteosyntheseschrauben bestehen aus einem chirurgischen Edelstahl, der ihnen trotz reduziertem Durchmesser eine hohe Stabilität verleiht.
